Menstrual hygiene is crucial for all girls, regardless of their economic status. However, for poor girls, ensuring proper menstrual hygiene can be particularly challenging due to limited access to resources and facilities. Helps Foundation is working towards Menstrual Hygiene. My Health - My Help is the initiative from Helps Foundation. Till today Helps Foundation completed 55 menstrual hygiene program in the rural schools of viramgam taluka of gujarat. Here are some key reasons why menstrual hygiene is important for poor girls:

Proper menstrual hygiene practices, including the use of clean and hygienic menstrual products, help prevent infections and diseases such as urinary tract infections and reproductive tract infections. When girls miss school due to menstruation, they are more likely to fall behind in their studies and may eventually drop out. Access to menstrual hygiene products and facilities allows girls to manage their periods with dignity and confidence.
